Volunteer Opportunities

Warm Smiles, Heartfelt Care, Exemplary Dedicaiton -

That’s what our volunteers provide to patients, visitors and employees on a daily basis at Biloxi Regional Medical Center.

Volunteers at Biloxi Regional Medical Center play an important role throughout the facility.  By their kindness and dedication, we are able to provide our patients and visitors with “the little extras”.  Some of the things you can do as a volunteer are:

  • Staff gift shop
  • Talk with family members in waiting rooms
  • Escort patients and visitors to designated areas of the hospital
  • Assist visitors in Outpatient and Intensive Care waiting room
  • Provide general information
  • Deliver newspapers and/or flower arrangements
  • And more

The volunteers meet each month on the first Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.  Special social events, seminars and activities are held regularly for the volunteers of Biloxi Regional.

Junior Volunteer Program

During the summer months, we allow junior volunteers to work in the facility.  Junior volunteers must be within the ages of 14-18 and maintain a “C” average in school.  For more information or to obtain an application, please call the Marketing Department at 228-436-1691 or e-mail at Marketing@BRMC.HMA-Corp.com.

Clergy Program

The clergy program at Biloxi Regional Medical Center consists of dedicated clergy members who are available to assist patients and family members with individual needs.  They provide pastoral visitation and counseling on a daily basis for all patients requesting these services.  For more information regarding the Clergy Program, contact the Volunteer Department at 436-1667.
