GULF OAKS has been a provider of mental health services on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast since 1985. Gulf Oaks has been faithfully serving Biloxi and surrounding areas for over 25 years. As of 2008, Gulf Oaks proudly joined Biloxi Regional Medical Center. We are dedicated to providing quality care and assistance to individuals and families in need of psychiatric care and substance abuse treatment. Gulf Oaks provides the community with a comprehensive inpatient and intensive outpatient programs for adults’ ages 18 and older. In addition, we offer counseling services and support groups. Our physician-supported and directed staff of registered nurses, social workers, therapists, mental health technicians, and certified alcohol and drug abuse counselor convey both expertise and compassion to the individualized treatment program for both patient and families. We treat all major psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic disorder, hallucinations, phobias, panic attacks, suicidal thoughts, crisis stabilization and substance abuse issues.
