Some wounds need specialized care to heal. For patients with those needs, we offer hyberbaric medicine. This is an effective way to help the body repair wounds and fight infection. During this therapy, a patient breathes pure oxygen for a short time in a special chamber. This allows great amounts of oxygen to be dissolved in the bloodstream and carried to body tissues in amounts large enough to improve healing. There is no discomfort - you can rest, watch TV or sleep while receiving your treatment.
