History

Gulf Oaks has been a provider of mental health services on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast since 1985 and have faithfully served Biloxi and surrounding areas for over 25 years. We are dedicated to providing quality care and assistance to individuals and families in need of psychiatric care.

Gulf Oaks provides the community with a comprehensive inpatient service and intensive outpatient programs for adults ages 18 and older. In addition, we offer counseling services and support groups. Our physician directed staff of registered nurses, social workers, therapists, mental health technicians, and certified alcohol and drug abuse counselor convey both expertise and compassion to the individualized treatment program for both patient and families.

We provide care for all psychiatric disorders such as such as depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic disorder,phobias, panic attacks, suicidal thoughts, crisis stabilization and substance abuse issues as a component of a behavioral or psychiatric disorder.
